Daycare Information
Lafayette County Health Department staff are available for health education programs, daycare health screenings, nursing, and environmental consultations.
Daycare Sanitation Inspections
The Lafayette County Health Department contracts with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and their Bureau of Childcare to conduct sanitation inspections in licensed daycares. Areas of concern include:
- Food Preparation
- Storage and Service
- Diapering and General Hygiene
- Environmental Hazards Indoors and Outdoors
- General Cleanliness
